We're very excited to share our first version of a Central Arkansas Land Acknowledgement! Land acknowledgements are just the tippy toe first step of showing respect and honoring the Indigenous peoples of the lands we occupy. We chose to also acknowledge the sacrifices and contributions of enslaved Africans who were forced to these lands and their descendants who make Arkansas their home.
